02 / COST 2 -YOUR PRODUCTION INVESTMENT

Your brand-build fee covers the work of creating and coordinating your brand. Your production investment covers the specialist development, packaging and manufacturing required to bring your physical range to life.
We coordinate these elements through our network of chemists, manufacturers and packaging suppliers, bringing the specifications, quantities and costs together to show you a full breakdown of product costs to help you decide on volume.

CUSTOM FORMULATIONS
Your products are developed from scratch around your brief. Through BYyu, chemist development starts at $849 per product, covering up to three sampling rounds.
For perspective, most Australian manufacturers advertise custom formulation fees of $5,000–$9,000 per product.
Our chemist development charge is separate from your agency brand-build investment.
Custom fragrance is not extra, this is part of your brand build.

PACKAGING
We only create custom packaging.
Packaging is custom design and custom printed.
We have some the best packaging partners in the world offering packaging from 25c to 90c + per unit depending on the level you want to take your brand.

PRODUCTION
With incredible Australian partner labs comes incredible quality & margins. While other labs for full custom are 5000 + per filled products minimum, we deliver 2000 per filled product at as low as $4 to $6 per product, and should retail between $50 to $68 AUD - thats a 11 to 14 X return.
